Q: What is included with your rates? A: All of our puppers are taken care of 24/7 by our loving and well-trained staff. In addition to love and attention, you can expect the following: -- "Pupdates": Pup owners will receive regular "Pupdates" on all the fun their pupper is having. These will include short written summaries and a picture. The number of Pupdates per day is dependent on how long your pupper is with us, however, you can generally expect the following: Boarding: 2 Pupdates per day Full Daycare: 1 Pupdate per day -- "Pawty" breaks: Each pupper will be taken out to our Potty Patio to do their business. The number of times this happens is also dependent on their length of stay, but generally will happen about every 3-4 hours.

Q: I'm ready! How do I get my pupper signed up? A: Please sign up with Paw Partner by going to www.pawpartner.com or download the free app from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. After creating a profile, click “Make a Reservation,” select Pupper's Play & Stay, then select the “Daycare” option and make a free 60-minute initial evaluation reservation.

Q: Why does my dog need to undergo an initial evaluation? A: At Pupper's Play & Stay, every dog receives an enormous amount of care and pampering, as well as individual attention to their unique quirks and needs. To make sure we are able to provide this level of service, we require an initial temperament evaluation. This evaluation helps us learn about your dog’s personality, needs, play style, and socialization habits, as well as a chance to observe your pupper's integration with our pack.

Q: What can I expect at the initial evaluation? A: During the evaluation, we will spend about 10 minutes with you and your dog to learn about their personality. You can then go run some errands or get a cup of coffee while we introduce them to the pack and see how they fit in. After we determine if they are a good fit for our facility, you will be able to book your first daycare reservation.

Q: Can you take my dog out for a walk? A: Sure! Our staff loves walking our puppers. Plus, Cal Anderson Park is only a block away. A 15-minute walk to the park is an additional $15 or a 30-minute walk to and around the park is an additional $25. When making a reservation on Paw Partner, we offer a selection of add-on services before you complete your booking. "15-minute walk" and "30-minute walk" will both be listed in the add-on services.

Q: What should I bring when boarding my dog? A: For Free Roam Boarding, simply bring any food and medicine your dog will need during their stay. We will provide everything else! For kennel Boarding, in addition to food and medicine, you can bring a small bed, blanket, or other items that your dog is used to having in their crate. Forgot to bring food or didn't provide enough? No problem, we will provide food for your dog at a rate of $8 per meal.

Q: What are "Open Lobby Hours" & when are they? A: To make sure your pupper's drop-off and pick-up are as smooth, efficient, and stress-free as possible (for both of you), we have "Open Lobby Hours" where our staff is actively checking in and checking out our puppers. For weekdays, Open Lobby Hours for check in are from 7:00am to 10:00am and for check out are from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. Weekends do not have Open Lobby Hours, but we are open from 8:00am to 6:00pm.

Q: What if I need to drop off or pick up my dog but it is not Open Lobby Hours? A: Between 6:30am and 7:00pm on weekdays and 8:00am and 6:00pm on weekends, it's no problem! Just ring the doorbell and a member of our staff will be happy to help you.

Q: What if I can't pick up my dog by 7:00pm on weekdays or 6:00pm on weekends? A: We understand that sometimes things happen and you can't get to our facility by closing time to get your pupper. We do allow pickup until 8:30 pm for an additional $20 fee. We do not allow pickup after 8:30 pm, as our puppers are ready for bed and we do not want to disturb them. But don't worry -- if you can't pick up your dog by 8:30 pm, they will be safe and happy spending the night with us!

Q: What happens if my dog is being aggressive or is believed to have an illness or skin issue (rash, hot spot, or open lesion)? A: If our well-trained staff notices your pupper is acting aggressively or appears to have an illness, we will isolate them in a safe and comfortable space. We will then immediately notify you and keep your pupper isolated until you are able to pick them up.

Q: Is there always staff available at your facility? A: Yes! If we have puppers staying at the facility, staff members will be watching them. We are staffed 24/7, 365 days a year.

Q: Can I get a tour of the facility? A: Unfortunately, no. For the comfort and peace of our dogs, we try to limit outside distractions as much as possible. However, keep an eye on our website and social media for pictures and videos of our facility!

Q: What type of security do you have at your facility? A: In addition to having staff on hand at all times, we have an extensive security camera system, as well as external gates that are closed and locked after hours. Rest assured, your pupper will be safe and secure with us!

Q: Do you have a video feed where I can watch my dog? A: No. We have an extensive security camera system, however, it does not provide an outside feed. But don't worry -- we will send you pictures and "pupdates" to let you know how your pupper is doing. You can feel comfortable knowing that your pupper is having a great time!

Q: My dog hasn't been there in a long time. Is there anything I need to do to bring them back? A: If it's been over a year since your dog has been to our facility, they will need to redo the free Initial Temperament Evaluation. If it has been more than 6 months since their last visit, we require that they come in for 1 full daycare session or 2 half-day sessions. These policies are to insure the safety of our dogs and staff, as well as the comfort of your dog.

Q: Do you have a cancellation policy? A:A 50% deposit is required for boarding, and is refundable up to 7 days before your booking. Deposit is non-refundable after 7 days, this includes if for any reason your pups stay is shorter than originally booked.
